Comments to “Colm Meaney on his character being tortured.”

  1. Xalbadora Says:
O'Brien was a good character but there were too many episodes where he gets dumped on.
  2. Younique Says:
He is a good actor, and a great character. But he looks kinda out of it in this video. He's sick?
  3. Carlatun Says:
cant agree with you, problem iwht O'Brien was he was wasted on TNG because he was only a secondary character and DS9 gave the writers and Colm Meany an opportunity to flesh him and his family out more.
  4. MASICHUVIO Says:
Yeah, but he deserved it. Awful awful character.
  5. Spencer Says:
Thanks for uploading this. There's so very little of him on the DVD sets.
  6. AKIL Says:
oh i love being treaded like shit LOL
  7. Teon Says:
Yes, I believe Kenny from the animation South Park was based on his character.
  8. Stanton Says:
For some reason they were often a meany to Meany
  9. Haddon Says:
YAY for two reasons: 1.Colm is great! 2.This was added on me birthday
  10. Swift Says:
"You know, again, I hadn't thought of that..." I think every trek actor utters these words when being asked questions at a convention.
  11. HAKEM Says:
I think the fact that O'Brien was also an NCO and a combat veteran also contributed to the fact that he got the rougher jobs. He's a man who's worked the ranks in starfleet from the very bottom up, so he'd be used to those sorts of things.
  12. Ganice Says:
Haha "yes I love being treated like shit"
  13. Alicyn Says:
Harry Kim had it a lot worse. Killed or wounded in every episode, I think.
  14. ABIDA Says:
They just like making O'Brien say "MOIDER".
